Product Testing & Quality Control
Consistency, safety, and performance are critical in art material manufacturing. At Yesfancy, quality control is integrated throughout the entire production process — from raw material evaluation and product development to production monitoring and final product inspection.
Our quality and testing procedures are designed to support product consistency, regulatory compliance, and long-term supply reliability across different product categories and market requirements.
Product Testing Framework
To support product reliability across different categories of art materials, our evaluation procedures are structured around the following areas:
Material & Chemical Integrity
To ensure product reliability, our evaluation framework covers both physical performance and chemical safety. Physical testing assesses adhesion, abrasion resistance, drying behavior, hardness, structural stability, performance under high and low temperatures, and humidity resistance — including warping, deformation, and mold resistance where applicable. On the chemical side, we conduct heavy metal screening, migration testing of regulated elements, VOC evaluation, and pH level assessment to meet international safety standards.
Mold Resistance Test
Application & Supply Consistency
Beyond material properties, we evaluate real-world application performance — including, for pigments, color accuracy and consistency, coverage and blending behavior, usability, and lightfastness. For other art materials, analogous tests are conducted accordingly. Finally, batch consistency verification through inter-batch comparison, production parameter monitoring, and retained sample comparison ensures long-term supply stability and repeat-order reliability.
Hiding Power Test
In-Process Control & Batch Traceability
Testing and inspection procedures are conducted at defined checkpoints throughout production to help maintain consistency across manufacturing runs.
Material Receiving & Production Monitoring
Raw materials and components are reviewed prior to acceptance through certification verification, specification checks, and spot testing where required. During production, key manufacturing parameters are monitored and production samples are collected at designated stages for inspection and consistency evaluation.
High Temperature Resistance Test
Traceability & Long-Term Consistency
Finished goods are subject to batch-level inspection and retained sample archiving to support long-term traceability and repeat-order consistency control. Over time, accumulated deviations may occur between current production and the original approved retained sample. To minimize long-term variation across repeat orders, benchmark comparisons and calibration procedures are conducted periodically to maintain production within approved tolerance ranges. Each production batch is assigned a traceable identification code, allowing relevant production and testing records to be retrieved when necessary.
Quality Inspection
Third-Party Laboratory Coordination
Where required, we coordinate with accredited third-party laboratories to perform additional or specialized testing based on customer specifications or market-specific requirements. Relevant test reports and documentation can be maintained for customer review.
Regulatory Alignment
For products requiring compliance with international safety and labeling standards — including EN71, ASTM D-4236, and other applicable requirements — testing and documentation procedures can be coordinated accordingly.

Our objective is not only to manufacture products efficiently, but to help clients maintain stable product quality, production consistency, and long-term market reliability across every production cycle.
